Prima ballerina of the Mongolian State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre (1981 – 1995), founder and director of Ulaanbaatar ballet school, ballet coach, choreographer. Honored Artist of Mongolia. Artistic director of Ulaanbaatar Theatre and Nomadic Ballet Production.

In 1981 she graduated from the Ballet Academy named after Agrippina Vaganova and was accepted into the ballet company of the Mongolian State Opera and Ballet Theatre, where for many years she performed leading roles in the ballets Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Corsair, The Fountain of Bakhchisaray, Chopiniana, Don Quixote, Spartacus, Uiliin Gurvan Tolgoi, Flowers among the Sagebrush, etc. From 1995 to 2022 she was ballet coach and chief ballet master of the theatre. In 2007 she founded the Ulaanbaatar Ballet School, which she currently directs. The school's students became diploma winners and laureates of many international competitions. In 2011, Gerelchimeg graduated from the Mongolian State Institute of Arts and Culture. Since 2022, she has been the artistic director of the Ulaanbaatar Theatre, as well as the production center Nomadic Ballet. Laureate of numerous state awards.
