Leading master of stage, repetiteur, director of the ballet company of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. People's Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic.
In 1994, he was accepted to the Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theatre as a ballet dancer. In 1995, he graduated from the Baku Choreography School. Since 1999, he has been the leading soloist of the theatre ballet company. His repertoire includes The Prince (The Nutcracker), Siegfried (Swan Lake), Albert (Giselle), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), Espada (Don Quixote), Bahram (Seven Beauties), Polad (Maiden Tower), Toreador (Carmen Suite), Aladdin (A Thousand and One Nights), Majnun (Leyli and Majnun), Hooligan (The Lady and The Hooligan), Nizami (Nizami), etc. In 2002, he was awarded the Honoured Artist and in 2013 — People’s Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan. As part of the theatre's ballet company, he toured in Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Turkey, France, Morocco, and Canada. From 2005 to 2011, he taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art. In 2015, he graduated from the Faculty of Art History of the Modern Humanitarian Academy (Moscow). In 2019, he graduated from the Faculty of Personnel management of university “Synergy” (Moscow). From 2015 to 2016, he worked as a ballet coach and artistic director of the Baku Choreography Academy. Author of the books Life in the Footlights (2018) and On Service to Ballet (2025). Awarded the commemorative badge of the Republic of Azerbaijan “880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi” (2021).
